What Is Water Fluoridation?
Water fluoridation is adding small amounts of fluoride to the water supply of a community. Fluoride protects people of all ages against tooth decay. It makes teeth stronger and harder, so that they last longer. Water fluoridation is an inexpensive and safe practice. Many communities have been adding fluoride to their water for over 50 years to improve dental health!
